Contested Landscapes 2020-21

These artworks evoke a melancholic yearning for a lost sense of a Romantic ideal of landscape painting. Mixing contemporary elements, the artworks represent a resemblance of a bygone Romantic vision. The artworks are both a response to and an interpretation of the anthropogenic epoch we are living through.
